Bunaíodh Club Leabhar i nGaelscoil Faithleann sa scoilbhliain 2023-2024. Cailín gleoite, Dearbhla Ní Chonaill a chum an smaoineamh agus a d’eagraigh an club. Bhí 36 páiste ó rang 1 go rang 6 cláraithe i mbliana. Gach Déardaoin ó 2.30i.n go 3.10i.n sa leabharlann. Bhí meascán d’imeachtaí idir léitheoireacht aonaracha, turas go dtí an leabharlann áitiúil, chomh maith le scéalta a scríobh ag úsáid samhlaíocht na bpáistí.
Gaelscoil Faithleann’s Book Club was founded in the 2023-2024 school year. It was created by a wonderful young girl by the name of Dearbhla Ní Chonaill. She had the idea from her love of books and organised the entire club as well as posters and promotions. We had 36 children registered from 1st – 6th class this year. Club is on every Thursday and runs from 2.30-3.10pm in the school library. There was a mixture of activities this year with individual reading time, a trip to the local library, as well the pupils creating their own written stories using an idea from their favourite author. We hope to add more activities for the school year ahead.
